𝗚𝗔𝗭𝗔 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 (𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮) – 𝟭,𝟴𝟭𝟰 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀

At noon on Sunday, our lead Metro Sunday School volunteer/teacher blew the whistle in Jabalia Refugee Camp, again. And the miracle continued. I don’t know how to best communicate this with you. I can only say that the Metro Gaza team made it happen, ONE MORE TIME, with 𝟭,𝟴𝟭𝟰 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ between blown up buildings in the middle of the war!

The older kids sat outside on the street, and the preschoolers were under a covering, in case of another rocket attack. The volunteers that did the preschool session had the kids pick up the broken bricks and use them as their little chairs. The whole scene defies description!!!

Dier remembered the tune of an old worship song that he learned when he first got saved, “𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗹𝘂𝗷𝗮𝗵…... 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗹𝘂𝗷𝗮𝗵……” and he used that tune to have the kids sing “𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀…… 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀…..”. My tears were rolling down to my cheeks while I hummed the tune right now. Our volunteers made sure these kids know that the food came from Jesus and Jesus-loving Christians all over the world.

A very small girl came to Sunday School with two empty tin cans. Those came from the canned food we gave them to take home last Sunday. The little girl saved the empty cans, brought them back yesterday and asked if she can get some water back for her sick mom.

So here we are, second week, after Ahkmed’s murder. I don’t really know how long they can sustain the Sunday School in the conditions they’re working under, with the ground attack being ramped up. If they can find bread, water and anything else and get it across the border.

But obviously, the team’s 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. SO, here we are now, fighting for the very souls of the Palestinian children coming to the Sunday School. We know for many of them, this will be their last chance to know the story of Jesus Christ…….

With that 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘 𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬 in front of us every day, we’ll continue to fight until the end, winning as many as we can, in Jesus’ name.
